To find the dimensions of your window furnishings, start by measuring from the top of the window frame to the bottom. Do the same from left to right.

You must also add 5–10cm above the top of the frame to account for the curtain rod. Remember to measure length based on whether you want your curtains to meet the sill, pass it, or extend all the way to the floor.

Or, to make it easy on yourself, simply call one of our experienced team for a free measure and quote.

The Winning Blinds range of curtains is fitted with standard hooks or eyelets. This means they will fit on your existing curtain rod or tracks.

We’re also able to fit new racks, rods or pelmets to match the décor and feel of the room.

Internal blinds and shutters can be wiped over with a damp cloth, though you must be careful not to use excess water on timber fittings. Many curtains can simply be put on a delicate cycle in the washing machine, depending on the fabric.

To clean outdoor shutters and awnings, hose off any dust or leaves and then spot clean with mildew remover if necessary.

Blockout curtains are designed to stop light passing through fabric, ensuring a virtually light-free bedroom or theatre room.

However, small amounts of light will still enter the room through gaps between the blinds or from behind the curtain.

Customer safety is a priority for us, which is why we carry a range of blinds, shutters and awnings without cords or ties that may pose a risk to young children.
